In text: at the midnight premiere To prepare myself for the midnight showing (and the next 7 and a half hours), I ran into Starbucks around 8:45pm on March 22 to order my white chocolate mocha and mocha frappuccino and wound up meeting some fellow fans there! The blond guy was the first person of the night to say something to me about my Mockingjay pin that I was wearing on my lapel.
Afterwords, we headed over to the cinema and arrived there around 9:10pm. I walked in to a small crowd of people around the extra’s table that we had set up. We had drawings for posters (signed by the extras present), books (signed by us as well), giant cookies from the concessions, Hot Topic Hunger Games tees, etc.
I went around and interviewed a lot of people before and after the film. Here are the videos!

and Part II!

As you can tell, I’m sure, I was very excited to be around the other fans and loved the entire experience.
One thing that is not in the video is a few of us extras went around to a couple of the theatres and introduced ourselves, what we did in the film, etc. and had trivia for the fans!
I asked several of them (in front of over 200 people - I can’t believe myself) such as: Which Hunger Games did Haymitch win? or What is Katniss’ birthday? or The tributes from districts 1, 2, 3, and 4 are known as what? or The berries that kill Foxface are known as what? The first person who raised their hand was the luck recipient of a poster or book signed by the extras!
So that was a really neat thing that we did!
Hope you guys enjoyed the videos! Thanks for watching.
